About Beaverton Oregon - Cedar Hills Neighborhood
Cedar Hills has been a Beaverton neighborhood of distinction since the '50's. Growing up in the shadow of Portland, downtown is only 15 minutes away. And yet, close enough to Hillsboro (the High Tech corridor, or the Silicone Forest as we call it) to make commuting to either downtown, or west of the city very easy. The Homes Association of Cedar Hills is an active home owner association, which creates a nice neighborhood feel. The appreciation of home values has been great, and typically Cedar Hills is a must see neighborhood with homes moving quickly. Cedar Hills Crossing is an upscale shopping center, with new Century Theatre, restaurants, shops including The Gap, Best Buy, etc., and of course -- Starbucks!
